Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This page explains which cookies are placed on your device when you use Burgasian (www.burgasian.com), what they do and how long they stay. The service is operated by SMARTIA OOD (СМАРТИЯ ООД). The full privacy notice covering all of your data is on the Privacy page.
1. In short: we use no advertising or tracking cookies
- Burgasian sets no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies; no third-party tracker such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel is loaded.
- Of the five cookies listed below, four are strictly necessary (technical) and one is a preference cookie set by your own action. None of them requires consent: unless you sign in or press the language button, no cookie is placed on your device at all. Your choice in the consent banner (visitor measurement) is kept in your browser’s local storage (sosya.riza.v1), not in a cookie.
2. Cookies in use
The session cookie is deleted the moment you sign out; the sign-in security cookie is cleared as soon as sign-in completes.
No other cookie is used: every place in the application's source code that writes a cookie was reviewed and no further cookie was found. No advertising network or third-party tracking package is connected to this application. The separate SocialID sign-in pages, operated by SocialID, use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection.
3. Local records that are not cookies
Your appearance preferences are not cookies; they are kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are never sent to our server. Four keys are used: sosya:theme (light / dark / system theme), sosya:text (text size), sosya:accent (accent colour) and sosya:lang (interface language).
You can clear these from your browser settings; the only effect is that your preferences return to their defaults.
4. Visitor measurement without cookies
We use the measurement tools of our hosting provider Vercel (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights). These tools set no cookies, write nothing to your browser and do not track you across sites; they create no persistent identifier and no user profile. What is measured: the address of the page viewed, the address you arrived from, country, device type, operating system, browser, screen size and page loading speed. Your IP address is not stored. The measurement sets no cookies, but it is only loaded if you allow it in the banner at the bottom of the page, and you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie preferences”.
5. How to delete or block cookies
In your browser settings you can see this site's cookies, delete them individually or block them entirely: in Chrome under Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and site data, in Safari under Settings › Privacy, in Firefox under Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data, in Edge under Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
If you block strictly necessary cookies you can still browse the site — venues and events stay open — but you cannot sign in and your acceptance of the terms will not be remembered.
6. If this policy changes
If a new cookie is added, or the name, lifetime or purpose of an existing one changes, this page is updated the same day and the date above changes with it. The same information is also kept in the cookie section of the Privacy page; the two texts are consistent with each other.
7. Questions
For any question or request about cookies please use the Contact page; you will receive an answer within 30 days at the latest.
